Frequently asked questions

Do I need Excel?

No. The kit works in free Google Sheets and in Microsoft Excel (desktop or web). Upload the .xlsx file to Google Drive and choose File → Save as Google Sheets.

Is the free calculator really free?

Yes. No sign-up, no email, no ads. Your numbers are saved only in your own browser.

Are the starter prices what I should charge?

No. They are example numbers so you can see how it works. Rates vary a lot by city, service and experience. Enter your own costs and research what cleaners charge in your area. QuoteCubby is a calculator, not pricing advice.

Can I use it in Spanish?

Yes. Every tier has a language switch. You can use Spanish screens and print client quotes, invoices and price lists in English (or the other way around).

What file types do I get?

Excel workbooks (.xlsx) in a sample version and a blank version, a quick-start guide (PDF) in English and Spanish, and, in the Complete Toolkit, printables as PDF and Word (.docx).

Does it work on my phone?

The free calculator works on any phone. The spreadsheets open in the Google Sheets or Excel apps, but setting them up is easier on a computer or tablet.

Is there a subscription?

No. One payment, and the files are yours to use in your own cleaning business.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If the kit doesn't work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. See the refund policy.

Is the cancellation policy template legal advice?

No. It's a starting template only. Laws differ by state and city. Have it reviewed if you need legal certainty.

Who is QuoteCubby for?

Independent house cleaners and small residential cleaning crews in the US who quote homes by size and rooms.
