The walk is only half the job

A 30-minute walk usually means more than 30 minutes of your time: getting the leash and keys, wiping paws, the update text, and the drive. Price each of those minutes. With the calculator’s example numbers, a 30-minute walk for 1 dog comes to $29 and pays about $29.35 per hour after a 20-minute round-trip drive. Stack walks in the same neighborhood and the drive shrinks, so the hourly pay goes up.

Example only, using the calculator’s starter numbers: $45 per hour target, 5 admin minutes per visit, 6 round-trip miles at $0.35 per mile, 20 minutes of driving per trip, $20 minimum visit, prices rounded up to $1. These are not market rates.
